There’s a beautiful resonance, that I find quite calming
In the bustle of a world’s pace unceasing

The noise that surrounds me still... seems so still
Swirling me in a sea of static
It’s going nowhere fast, and I can’t stop it

I could shout out loud, or sing a melody
Join in with harmony, to sooth the soul
I could play along with a symphony of all these things
But today, I rest in the quiet
